The Phoenix Suns have sunk in the Western Conference standings with Devin Booker sidelined due to injury. They clearly need to get active ahead of the NBA trade deadline to improve.
Chris Paul no longer appears to be the All-NBA caliber guard he was when he first joined the Suns. There is a need for another creator in their backcourt rotation. They also need to find a new team for Crowder, who has sat out the whole season.
Could the Suns call up the New York Knicks to get a possible trade? They are going to be needing to trade Derrick Rose, but will do so with respect to his goals when finding a new team.
The Suns could be an intriguing option for Rose. He spends his offseason in the Scottsdale area and would likely contribute to a team trying to contend.
