The app should help you identify sleep issues you have, and help you resolve them. The app does deliver some calming music that can help you fall asleep as well. In order for the app to keep track of your sleep, you’ll need to place your phone next to your back, and the app will use its microphone to analyze your sleep cycle.
This app will let you know hoe much deep sleep and light sleep you got while you were asleep. You can actually keep some notes in the app as well. Such as when did you drink coffee, did you work out, how stressed you are, and so on. The app also offers a smart alarm clock which is supposed to wake you up gently, essentially. This app works best when you’re sleeping alone, by the way. That goes for most of the apps on the list.

This app also comes with a special feature called ‘Sleep Trends’. That feature is supposed to help you improve your sleep by overseeing your habits over a few weeks / months, and using those stats to do it.
The app can record your snoring and dream talking. You can also mark when you had a drink, ate, exercised, and so on, as such information will help you improve your sleep quality. The app can track your sleep phases, and provide you with a sleep score as well. There are some soothing audio files available in the app, while a smart alarm clock is included in this application as well. There are way more features included here.

Its smart alarm feature is one of its best qualities. It has an intelligent alarm that will provide you with a gentle, natural wake-up call while you’re in a light sleep stage. All other regular sleep tracking features are included here.
The app does require you to place your phone close to your bed in order for it to work. On your nightstand, for example, or on the floor next to the bed. Thea pp will provide you with plenty of data based on your sleep habits, and you’ll get various reports and analytics with that. You can snooze the app either by shaking the phone, or double tapping the display. A snore recorder is included as well, and much more.

Sleep as Android is easily one of the best known sleep tracking apps out there. This app is also known as a really capable smart alarm, and it’s packed with features. Sleep cycle tracking with smart wake up feature uses your phone’s or wearables sensors. Do note that you can use that feature for two weeks as part of a trial period, but after that, you’ll be required to pay once in order to continue using it.
Thanks to the ‘Sonar’ feature, you don’t need to keep your phone in bed with you for the app to work. This app also has support for Wear OS, Gamin Connect IQ, Mi Bands, and so much more. It will also work better if it’s connected to an actual fitness tracker, of course, that goes for every app like this, pretty much. The app does have some nature sounds to help you fall asleep, and much more.

Sleep Theory is a great sleep tracking app that delivers a nice library of soothing sounds to you, in order to help you sleep. There are relaxing melodies, such as piano, classical music, post rock. Then there are the so-called ‘White Noises’, such as fan noise, rain sounds, various other nature sounds. This app can also track your sleep cycles, and provide you with your sleep score.
Based on that, you can work to improve your sleep habits. This app also comes with a smart alarm clock, like almost every app on this list. You’ll get an interesting report in form of long-term sleep analysis, and sleep trends. The app can also remind you when it’s time to go to bed. There are some nice widgets included in the package as well, and the app does look really nice, the company did a really nice job with the UI.

Google Fit is an app that many of you know very well. This is Google’s very own app, and a hub of sorts. Many fitness-related services sync with Google Fit, and this is the app that comes out of the box on the Wear OS platform. So, if you use an Android smartphone with a well-known fitness app, chances are you can sync it with this. The same goes for a number of fitness trackers and smartwatches.
That being said, many of those fitness trackers and smartwatches can track your sleep patterns. If that’s the case, and you own one, you can connect them with Google Fit, and have all the information in one place. This app has a really simple, and yet sleek design. It works really well, and Google actually collaborated with WHO and AHA in order to make this app a reality.

Sleep Cycle by White-Space is a really simple app. Not only does it deliver a simple design, that actually looks really nice, but its functionality is really simple. Its one goal is to track your sleep cycle, that’s it. It doesn’t have any additional, fancy features that other apps on the list do. So if you’re looking for something simple that will track your sleep cycle, and give you an explanation as to how it works via a text tutorial, this is the app for you.
This is a rather unknown app, as it has only 8 ratings in the Play Store as the moment. People who have tried seem to like it, though, and it works really well. So, giving it a go can’t hurt, as long as you don’t expect any additional features. You won’t find a smart alarm here, nor any soothing sounds for easier sleeping. The same goes for statistics, and so on. This is a bare-bones app.

PrimeNap is a great-looking sleep tracking app that comes with a dream journal feature. This app can monitor your sleep patterns like every other app on the list, while it allows for data export as well. Just in case you need your sleep data for something else. You’ll get detailed sleep analysis, while the smart alarm feature is a part of this application as well. Snore detection is another feature worth noting.
The app has the red filter feature as well, and it can provide you with sleep stats for user-specified daily activities. Soothing sounds are built into this app as well, and much more. PrimeNap is actually one of the most popular sleep tracking apps for Android. Some users seem to have issues with using the app, though, based on comments on the Play Store. We did not have such issues.

Sleep Easy is a sleep tracking app with detailed sleep history information. In case you want to have a look at your sleep history, you can do that via this app at any time. The app’s design is really simple, and yet functional. Sleep Easy has a sleep reminder notification feature, and both auto and manual modes. This application comes without any ads, and is offline only, and that’s something many of you will be happy about.
The Auto Mode for sleep tracking watches for your phone movement to determine whether you’re awake. You can even preset the time it will take you to fall asleep. Manual Mode, on the other hand, is the default mode. When you’re ready to go to sleep, you can tap the ‘Sleep Easy’ button, and be on your way. Once you wake up, you simply click the ‘I’m Awake’ button.
