THEMBINKOSI LORCH TO START AGAINST HIS FORMER CLUB?
In related news, Lorch has revealed that he is eager to make his Sundowns debut against Pirates.
With the Premier Soccer League deciding to postpone the midweek fixtures due to Bafana Bafana’s late return from Afcon 2023, Pirates and Sundowns set up an interesting script.
Sundowns were due to face Golden Arrows, but the changed schedule means the first match for the second round will be against Pirates this weekend.
This means that Lorch is set to mark his Sundowns debut against his former club at the Loftus Versveld on Saturday at 20:00.
“It’s difficult to play my first game, especially against my former team,” Lorch said in the pre-match press conference on Thursday.
