It’s been a long and hectic offseason for Tyler Herro. Herro found himself linked in trade rumors throughout most of this NBA offseason. However, he doesn’t allow that to get in the way of wanting to be a great player. Instead, he is remaining positive in his perspective while discussing the recent trade rumors.
In a recent interview with Couper Moorhead, Herro opened up about his mindset going into next season.
“At the end of the day it’s a business and I try to keep that in perspective at the same time because I’m in the NBA making millions of dollars and setting my family up for the rest of their lives, too.”

Herro had been dangled as a main trade piece at the time for Damian Lillard. Once Lillard had made it clear that he wanted to play for the Miami Heat, Herro was the young trade piece that was deemed the most likely to be shopped.
After months of hearing his name in rumors though, he ultimately stayed put as the Milwaukee Bucks were the team able to trade for Lillard. Now, the Heat will look to see a leap from Herro in order to make it through the loaded Eastern Conference.
In order for the Heat to make the Finals, Herro will have to play a significant role. He struggled in the playoffs last season with this health but will look to bounce back this year.
The Heat have lost multiple key pieces this offseason from their Finals team last year. Both Max Strus and Gabe Vincent find themselves on different rosters. Now, the former Sixth Man of The Year could be the difference maker on the ceiling of the Heat.
