The Springboks and All Blacks recorded wins in the second round of the 2024 Rugby Championship on Saturday.
The world champion Springboks proved too good for Australia, winning 30-12 in Perth, while the All Blacks prevailed 42-10 against Argentina in Auckland.
South Africa picked up another full-house of five log points for their victory, while New Zealand did likewise with their win.
Neither the Wallabies nor Pumas could muster a log point.
As reported by The South African website, the Springboks’ win had no impact on the World Rugby rankings.
However, New Zealand picked up 0.34 log points for their victory, but remained in third place.
Argentina lost 0.34 log points, but remained in sixth place in the standings.
The tournament will be on a break next weekend.
The Springboks will host the All Blacks at Ellis Park in Johannesburg in their next match on Saturday, 31 August at 17:00, while Argentina will welcome Australia to La Plata on Sunday, 1 September at midnight (SA time).
