Vehicle collides with traffic light in Auckland central causing ‘serious’ injuries

Emergency services are on the scene of a serious single vehicle crash on Stanley St in Auckland central on Sunday night.

A spokesperson for the police said it appeared the vehicle had collided with a traffic light.

Initial indications suggest there are serious injuries, police said.

At 9.30pm on Sunday, traffic management was in place at the scene and police were advising motorists to avoid the scene.
