Western Australians will learn the plan to live with COVID tomorrow – when Premier Mark McGowan outlines the state’s roadmap to reopening.
The state government has pledged a $400 million boost to provide 270 new hospital beds – to prepare for when the virus enters WA.
WA will ease border restrictions with New South Wales from 12am on Saturday – downgrading the state from “extreme” to “high risk”.
Exemptions will be granted to government officials and military personnel – and those with compassionate reasons to enter.
Approved travellers must be fully vaccinated and complete 14 days quarantine.
