Wales are set to ramp up their preparations for Saturday’s clash with world champions South Africa, with Wayne Pivac having announcing six changes to his starting XV.
Alun Wyn Jones and Ross Moriarty are two notable absentees, with both picking up shoulder injuries in during the autumn opener with New Zealand last weekend.
Rhys Carre, Dan Biggar and Nick Tompkins are among those to have been drafted in, as too is winger Louis Rees-Zammit.
Bradley Roberts could well make his his debut off the bench, while WillGriff John is also likely to make his international bow.
Pivac has insisted his side are aiming to produce an expansive brand of rugby, and has played down any comparisons between his own team and the Lions side which took on the Springboks this summer under his predecessor Warren Gatland.
Wales haven’t lost to South Africa in Cardiff since 2013, and Pivac will certainly be keen on a response from his side after a disappointing result at the hands of an admittedly full-strength All Blacks side.
