All of us Eggslut fans won over by its chef-driven and egg-centric gourmet menu will have another reason to be egg-cited. Eggslut is rolling out a special first anniversary menu consisting of elevated egg-focused dishes.
What’s not to miss are the two egg-celent choices: The Avocado and Prawn Sandwich and the Panna Cotta Slut. Both opulent dishes provide a fancy celebratory one-two punch in achieving true gastronomic indulgence. And even more for egg lovers.
The Avocado and Prawn Sandwich (S$16) is made up of grilled tiger prawns in a garlic chilli lime glaze, an over-medium egg, avocado slices, cheddar cheese, and sweet chilli mayo on a classic brioche bun, where the prawns’ sugary, buttery tastes balance the egg’s strong flavour.
The Panna Cotta Slut (S$6) is the first dessert to grace Eggslut’s menu in Singapore. Served inside a mason jar, it resembles a coddled egg but in fact is a “yolk” of mango passionfruit formed spherically atop a bed of vanilla and hazelnut panna cotta. Puncture the zesty sphere and carefully mix in mouthfuls of creamy panna cotta for a delightful blend of fanciful texture, sweet taste and bold flavours.
Now, aren’t these egg-citing?
