Another week down, here are the top headlines from our news section. We got our first look at the iPhone 16 Pro Max which should launch in the fall of 2024 with a 6.9-inch screen and the same Dynamic Island notch on the top. Next up from the rumor mill is news about an Xperia Compact foldable of the clamshell variety. The only other information we have is that the device will not feature a secondary screen.
Infinix announced its Note 30 series smartphones. Note 30 brings a 6.78” LCD with a 120 Hz refresh rate, a Helio G99 chipset and a 5,000 mAh battery with 44W fast charging. Note 30 5G features an identical screen but opts for a Dimensity 6080 chipset and a 108 MP main cam. Note 30 Pro is the most capable out of the trio with an AMOLED panel and 120Hz refresh rate, 108MP main cam and a 5,000 mAh battery with 68W fast charging.
Samsung’s Galaxy S23 FE is rumored to launch before the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Z Flip5 which are expected to debut in the last week of July. You can now edit WhatsApp messages up to 15 minutes after you’ve sent them. Nothing Phone (2) is confirmed to launch in July with a 4,700 mAh battery as confirmed by Carl Pei.
OnePlus launched its Marble Odyssey limited edition phone in India. At the same time, Oppo brought its Reno10 series with the Pro+ model boasting a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, a 6.74-inch OLED with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 4,700 mAh battery with 100W SuperVOOC 2.0 charging.
