Leicester City meet Hull City at the King Power Stadium in a stand-out Championship match.

Victory would see Leicester stay top of the table heading into the international break, whilst Hull can move into the play-off spots with a win.

Leicester have no fresh injury concerns to report after their win at Tranmere in midweek Carabao Cup action, having previously beaten Rotherham last weekend in the league.

Alex Smithies (unspecified),Conor Coady (foot) and Dennis Praet (back) remain absent.

Hull could be without forward, Ozan Tufan who is struggling with a thigh injury.

Lewie Coyle (ankle) is set to be available but Greg Docherty (knee) and Dogukan Sinik (shoulder) both remain absent.

Leicester host Hull at 3pm BST on Saturday 2 September at the King Power Stadium, untelevised in the UK.

Stat Attack

• Leicester are unbeaten in six of their last seven league meetings against Hull (W4, D2, L1).
• Hull are winless in their last five visits to Leicester (D2, L3).
• Both teams have scored in four of their last five meetings at the King Power Stadium, except for a 0-0 draw in March 2015.
• Leicester have kept just one clean sheet in their four league matches this season (W4), which came in a 1-0 win at Huddersfield in the second matchweek.
• No Hull player has been involved in more goals in their opening four league games this season than Ozan Tufan, who has scored four goals in two of his four appearances.

Prediction

Sat top of the table, Leicester will enter this match knowing that a win will keep them top going into the international break, especially after clinical finishing proved enough to beat Rotherham despite conceding a poor equaliser with a spot of awful marking.

Hull meanwhile really will need Tufan available because if he isn’t then they will need a super defensive effort to get a result, because this will be a tougher game than their draw against Bristol City in which their attacking play was excellent aside from end product.

Should Tufan start then I can see Hull snatching a draw otherwise Leicester should clinch another win if they continue to play with confidence, patience and clinical end product.
