Marine experts fear the world’s most famous white whale Migaloo could be dead after an albino whale carcass washed ashore in Mallacoota, eastern Victoria.
Wildlife scientists believe the location lines up with the mammal’s migration pattern.
Migaloo is a male humpback estimated to have been born in 1986.
He has been spotted numerous times off Australia’s coast since its first sighting in 1991.
