Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios will face American Brandon Nakashima in the fourth round of Wimbledon in the first match on Centre Court tonight.
Kyrgios managed to defeat the no.4 seed Stefanos Tsitsipas in four sets in Round 3 with some heated words by both players after the match.
Tsitsipas accused Kyrgios of being a bully and the Australian hit back by pointing out that the Greek player deliberately hit balls at him when he was at the net.
In between all the drama, Kyrgios has been stringing together some very impressive tennis and he’s made no secret that he thinks his best chance of winning a grand slam is on the grass courts of Wimbledon.
While Kyrgios is now the clear favourite for this match, historically he’s struggled as the favourite and as Nick alluded to, you don’t get to the 4th round of a grand slam without playing some good tennis.
Nakashima has defeated Nicola Kuhn, Denis Shapovalov and Daniel Elahi Galan en route to this match and he’s only lost two sets in the process.
What time is Nick Kyrgios playing?
Kyrgios-Nakashima is the first match on Centre Court.
That means the players will enter the famous venue at 10:30pm AEST with the match to follow soon after.
Those in South Australia will need to tune in from 10pm and those in Western Australia, you get tennis in primetime at 8:30pm.
