‘Whinging teals’ getting ‘more than every other backbencher’

Sky News host Chris Smith said the public will quickly tire of the “whinging teals” and their obsession with green left issues.

“They all represent well off electorates, they are all accomplished professional people and will have difficulty showing real empathy for struggling Aussies.” Mr Smith said.

Mr Smith said the teal independent’s “incredible sense of entitlement” over their staffing levels shocked him.

“They are still getting more than every other backbencher,” he said.

“Their Canberra based senior advisers will be entitled to a private car, business class airfares and a very generous travel allowance, which means they can all rough it in flash five star hotels.”
