Winning seat of Aston would be an ‘extraordinary result’ result for Labor

Former Labor minister Stephen Conroy says for the Labor Party to pick up the seat of Aston in the upcoming by-election would be an “extraordinary result”.

“Labor does not have any track record of winning any seats from the Opposition once we’re in government,” Mr Conroy told Sky News Australia.

“We’re going to give it a red-hot go but you would have to say realistically that it will be a big ask for Labor.”
