Police say the 32-year-old Jensen woman entered a home on Eleventh Avenue in Railway Estate in the early hours of July 12 and seriously assaulted the 39-year-old Aurukun man before leaving in a car.
Emergency crews found the man with a stab wound to the chest.
Yesterday, homicide detectives arrested the woman at a property on Texas Road.
She has been charged with one count each of murder, enter dwelling with intent at night in company, threatening violence and deprivation of liberty and has been remanded in custody to reappear in court on October 13.
A 37-year-old Beach Holm man was also taken into custody today and is assisting police.
