National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Samuel Anyanwu, has inaugurated zonal directors, state, local councils and ward coordinators of his Divine Mandate Movement (DMM), a political pressure group to galvanise support for his 2023 governorship ambition.
The campaign team has former member of Imo State House of Assembly, Ngozi Ogbu, as its director general and Gozie Nwachukwu as its secretary.
Henry Onwukwe (Owerri Zone); Golden Nwosu (Orlu Zone) and Chief Ben Duru (Okigwe) were also appointed zonal directors.
Inaugurating the team in Owerri at the weekend, Anyanwu applauded members of the team for their steadfastness and commitment in propagating the ideals of PDP.
He also charged them to sustain the tempo by massively mobilising support of the people, especially at the grassroots for actualisation of his ambition.
The PDP national scribe also reiterated commitment of the party to deliver all its candidates in the 2023 general elections, stressing that victory for the party, across levels, remains paramount to him and his team.
He warned them against attitudes, which, according to him, are capable of diverting their attention from their duties diligently, and achieving success.
