Exiled Kenyan lawyer Miguna Miguna has announced his return to Kenya after years in Canada.
In a post shared on his social media accounts, the outspoken lawyer said he would depart from Canada on Monday, October 24.
He said he would arrive at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) on Tuesday, October 25.
“Homecoming itinerary. Departing from Toronto: October 24, 2022.Arrival at JKIA, Nairobi: October 25, 2022 at 8:20 PM. See you, everyone,” wrote the lawyer.
Miguna relished being away from Kenya for close to five years since he was hurriedly deported.
“After nearly 5 years of forced barbaric exile, I’m returning home,” added Miguna.
