Junior Khanye makes Arthur Zwane claim Stellenbosch FC clash

Ex-Kaizer Chiefs star Junior Khanye has made a bold claim about his former team’s head coach Arthur Zwane ahead of their Stellenbosch FC clash.

Amakhosi will be aiming for a third straight win in the DStv Premiership while Stellies will be seeking their second in a row.

Khanye, who is now a football pundit, has claimed that Zwane has the same style of football as Kaizer Chiefs’ previous coaches Gavin Hunt and Ernst Middendorp who both believe in long balls rather than building patiently from the back.

He went on to say ‘10111’ lacks the Glamour Boys’ philosophy.

And in predicting the game, he says Steve Barker’s troops will be too strong for Amakhosi and will pick up three points at home.

‘HE IS UNDER PRESSURE’ – KHANYE ON ARTHUR ZWANE

“There is a lot of things he needs to fix at his club,” Khanye told iDiskiTV.

“You sack Gavin Hunt, you sack Ernst [Middendorp] and then you’re bringing Arthur, they play the same way.

“So, how many games he is going to win? You are right [he has the philosophy] but he doesn’t have Kaizer Chiefs’.

“As an interim coach, he had no pressure whereby no task was given, he was just giving players chance to express themselves.

“But now there are terms and clause, so he’s under pressure.

‘HE WON’T WIN THREE GAMES IN A ROW’

“Too many long balls, they don’t have defensive midfielder. Yes [Njabulo] Blom played against Swallows who were all over.

“He won’t win three games in a row, Stellenbosch are going to win, not even a draw in this game.”
