Less than a year into starting a New Zealand division, Abel has released its second campaign in Aotearoa – this time for iconic Southland bank – SBS Bank.
Created in partnership with TripleDouble & Limehouse, the work plays on the idea that New Zealand is one of the best places in the world to call home, and SBS Bank as the best bank in New Zealand to own a home with.
Voted best bank for home loans and best bank for first home buyers by Canstar in 2022, SBS Banks been recognised for having a conscience and a heart when it comes to helping New Zealanders getting on the property ladder in the current economic climate.
Simon Fowler, Creative Co-Founder at Abel says it has been enjoyable working with SBS Bank, TripleDouble and Limehouse to bring this campaign to life.
“Strategically it feels like an important time for SBS Bank to announce this achievement – with diminishing trust in the big four, and rising cost of everything else – a positive perspective, and a little Southland heart could be the very thing which gives FHBs the encouragement and support they need to get it over the line.”
A key part of the campaign is the development of a First Home Combo box which addresses cost of living issues for first home buyers by offering a range of competitive inclusions, support, and one of New Zealand’s lowest interest rates.
Mandy Oosterbroek Marketing Manager, SBS Bank says: “As SBS Bank continues to offer authenticity, transparency and heart into the home loan category, we’re excited to team up with into Abel to share this important message to homebuyers across New Zealand.”
Nicole Jauncey – Creative Co-Founder, Abel adds they are humbled by their AUS and NZ partners who have trusted them with some of their most challenging and important briefs so far.
“Working with Mandy and the team at SBS Bank is yet another example of that. We feel incredibly fortunate to solidify our trans-Tasman offering with such a talented, passionate group of people.”
The campaign launched spring 2022 and will run across OOH, TVC, social and owned channels.
