The Federazione Industria Musicale Italiana (FIMI) has awarded Nigerian singer, Rema a gold plaque for his single “Calm Down” after his performance in a show in Italy.
The song ” Calm Down” which served as the lead single for his debut album, “Raves & Roses,” which was released in March 2022.

The song “Calm Down” has received lots of positive feedbacks from fans since it release, also a Selena Gomez remix helped it gain even more attractions.
‘Calm Down‘ first earned Gold certifications in Spain, Portugal, and the Netherlands before getting it in Italy. In the UK, it was also awarded a Silver certification, and in France, a Diamond certification.
The single has enjoyed international acclaim as it entered the Billboard Hot 100 peaking at number 74 and the top 10 of the UK singles chart.
Meanwhile, after Rema’s show in Brixton Arena London, he revealed that ‘Calm Down’ has surpassed 1 billion streams across all platforms.
Rema’s official fan page also revealed that “Calm Down” has surpassed 250 Million views, weeks after the song made history by being the fastest afrobeat song to hit 200 views on Youtube.
