Shubman Gill is seen as the next big thing in Indian cricket. The young batsman made his debut for India in 2019 and has gone from strength to strength since then. As of now, he is an indispensable part of India’s Test and ODI teams.
The youngster has become the talk of the town after starting the new year on a stunning note. He scored a fine fifty and a century against Sri Lanka in the three-match series.
It was followed by a monumental double century in the first ODI of the ingoing three-match series against New Zealand. The youngster joined the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Rohit Sharma and other handful of stalwarts who have managed to score a double century in the 50-over format.
And while Shubman is busy smashing runs on the cricket field, his ever-increasing fanbase is busy speculating about his love life. There is absolutely no denying that the youngster is one of the most eligible bachelors in the country right now and his name has already been linked with some high profile celebrities.
Sara Tendulkar or Sara Ali Khan – Who is Shubman Gill dating?
In recent times, Shubman Gill has been linked with legendary Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter Sara Tendulkar and Bollywood actress Sara Tendulkar.
His name was first linked with Sara Tendulkar. It all started when they started interacting with each other through social media comments. Their were several instances of them liking each other’s posts, commenting on their pictures and writing the same captions on their respective posts.
And while the cricket world was busy talking about them, his name was linked with Sara Ali Khan last year when they were spotted having dinner together.
As of now, no one has publicly made any comments on the rumours. Shubman Gill, however, recently dropped a massive hint about the lady he might be dating at present. A few weeks ago, during a Punjabi talk show ‘Dil Diyan Gallan’, he raised a number of eyebrows with his response when asked about Sara Ali Khan.
The star batsman refused to rule out the talks of his relationship with the actress. It all started when host Sonam Bajwa questioned the cricketer on who was the fittest Bollywood actor?
In reply, Shubman Gill said: “Sara.”
Following the response, Sonam asked Shubman whether he was dating the actress, to which he replied, “Maybe.”
The host then decided to have some fun at Shubman’s expense by asking him to reveal the truth saying, “Sara ka sara sach bolo (Tell the whole truth).”
Shubman was not ready to back down either as he replied: “Sara da sara sach bol diya (I have told the whole truth). Maybe, maybe not.”
So far, neither Shubman nor Sara Ali Khan has made any comments about their rumoured relationship but the former’s recent comments about the latter are enough to assume that something might be going on between the two.
