Every year, NBA fans around the world tune in to watch the draft – and the draft lottery.
After all, the draft shapes the future of the league. Teams make entire decisions based on it. Their future, as well as the futures of the players being selected, can rest on it.
With that in mind, having flexibility is a luxury. If a team has multiple first-round picks in one draft, they can trade up or down in the draft. Those are great options to have.
The Utah Jazz will have that optionality in the upcoming draft. They already own their pick and the Minnesota Timberwolves.
That pick has the potential to be higher than the Jazz likely expected when they acquired it.
Could they add one more pick this season?
