Some say you should never look back. You’re not going that way. Some NBA teams are living with regrets right now.
Others say that it’s never too late to get what you want. If you have regrets, you can live with them, or, you can correct the mistakes that led to them.
For example, the Los Angeles Lakers almost acquired Buddy Hield two summers ago. He’d probably have been the perfect acquisition for that team.
Instead, they went with Russell Westbrook.
Observers were instantly concerned about his potentially clunky fit with LeBron James. So far, it’s been clunky at best.
Could the Lakers correct their mistake and acquire Hield this season?
