Tim Hortons has announced that it will open it’s first London spot later this year – complete with a drive-thru and people can’t wait. The Canadian fast food chain will be located at Royale Leisure Park, in West London and promises to serve breakfast, lunch and dinner options including their famous Timbits.
People rushed to share their excitement at the news after it was shared on Twitter. One fan wrote: “Finally yas!!” Another said: “Best news ever!” and “On two Tube lines, Piccadilly (Park Royal) and Central (West Acton). Sweet.”
Another even commented that they would make the trek across London to try the food and drink on offer: “This is amazing news! Hopefully this is step one to moving towards central London as well! I’m in East London but I will be making the trek either way!”

There are currently 51 UK outposts of Tim Hortons with flagship locations in Birmingham, Belfast and Leicester city centre. To celebrate the opening, a series of deals and giveaways will be on posted across their social media platform in the coming weeks.
Kevin Hydes, chief commercial officer of Tim Hortons in the UK, said: “It feels like now is the right time to make our move into the capital and Park Royal offers a great drive-thru and dine-in location for our guests, with travellers able to come from across London to enjoy their Tim Hortons fix.
“We pride ourselves on our quality and value offering and know our versatile menu will be hugely popular to Londoners. This is just the start of our inception into London, and we cannot wait to share further details in the coming months.”
