A man in his 30s has been left fighting for his life following a stabbing in South East London as a 39-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, according to police.
Police said they were called to a residential property at Crowmarsh Gardens in Forest Hill, shortly before 2.20pm following reports of a stabbing incident.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said officers had attended the incident, along with the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance.
A man, aged in his 30s, was found with a stab injury and was rushed to hospital where he remains in life threatening condition.
A 39-year-old woman has since been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and grievous bodily harm with intent. She remains in custody at a South London police station.
