Jeenathan Williams will sign a two-year deal with the Portland Trailblazers. The contract will extend through the 2023-2024 season, his agent Billy Davis of Family of Athletes Sports Group tells Sideline Sources’ Wenzell Ortiz.
Williams, 24, was playing for the Salt Lake City Stars. This season, he’s averaged 14.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game. He joined the Utah Jazz’s G League affiliate team in October 2022.
Williams played his collegiate career at Buffalo. As a senior, he averaged 19.1 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game. He was awarded First Team All-MAC honors.
The 24-year-old went undrafted in 2022. He then signed as an unrestricted free agent with the Jazz, in turn playing for the Stars.
