Ghana’s continent complained bitterly about the treatment received from Morocco as the U17 women’s got eliminated from the 2022 FIFA U-17 World Cup finals in India.
The Black Maidens were beaten 2-0 in regulation time to tie the aggregate and later succumbed 4-2 on penalties at the Moulay El Hassan Complex in Rabat.
But before Saturday’s final round qualifier, Ghana had five key players ruled out after failing mandatory covid tests.
At half-time, the Maidens were forced to use the corridors of the dressing room for their talk after alleging their room had been sprayed with chemicals.
A tweet read: ”Our dressing room sprayed with chemicals and we had to sit outside through the break ”
