40 Businesses High on Woke ESG Standards Bankroll Abortion Travel Scheme

The U.S. Supreme Court may have overturned Roe v. Wade, but abortion has not been completely eliminated — not if leftists in corporate America have anything to say about it, at least. 

Following the collapse of Roe, many businesses reportedly announced funding for abortion-related travel expenses, in a major victory for leftists pushing corporate America to adopt woke environmental, social and governance (ESG) standards. ESGs provide a smokescreen for left-wing bigwigs in C-suites to force radical leftist politics on shareholders, according to former McDonald’s CEO Edward Rensi. Utah State Treasurer Marlo Oaks called ESG “the greatest threat to our freedoms in America today without question,” during an exclusive interview with MRC Business.

MRC Business tallied at least 40 major corporations that have reportedly vowed to fund abortion-related travel expenses for employees following the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization decision that overturned Roe. 

Disney, one of the most notorious left-wing companies utilizing ESGs, assured employees that it would provide them with abortion travel benefits in a statement obtained by CNBC and issued the same day as the Dobbs decision. Footwear company Nike told MRC Business on June 28 that “We cover travel and lodging expenses in situations where services” — abortions —  “are not available close to home.” Even DoorDash, a food delivery company, jumped into the preborn baby-killing fight. 

“Because safe abortion procedures may become severely limited in more states, DoorDash will cover certain travel-related expenses for employees who face new barriers to access and need to travel out of state for abortion-related care,” a DoorDash spokesperson told MRC Business in a June 28 email. 

Here are some of the companies that announced travel cost reimbursements for abortions following the leaked SCOTUS draft opinion on Roe and the eventual decision released over a month later.

• Amazon announced it would “pay up to $4,000 in travel expenses annually for non-life threatening medical treatments including abortions.” 
• Meta COO Sheryl Sandberg called on Americans to “protect and expand abortion access” on her personal Facebook account. The company also said it will reimburse travel expenses for employees seeking abortions in another state, according to Reuters. 
• Apple said it would help cover travel costs for Texas employees who travel out of state for abortions, according to The Post. 
• Microsoft similarly vowed it would “continue to do everything we can to support our employees,” including “for travel expense assistance” for “abortion” when such “care options” are limited in their home region, in a June 25 LinkedIn post. The Seattle Times reported that Microsoft will “provide travel expense reimbursement for employees seeking abortions and gender-affirming care anywhere in the country.”
• JPMorgan Chase told employees that it would cover travel costs for abortions if employees had to travel over 50 miles to get an abortion, The Times reported. 
• Disney told employees that it would provide them with abortion travel benefits in a statement obtained by CNBC. It is worth mentioning that Disney owns ABC News, one of the notorious liberal Big Three networks that has continually 
• Nike told MRCB in an email that it would support employees receiving abortions out of state if the state where they live prohibits abortion. “We cover travel and lodging expenses in situations where services are not available close to home and regularly make adjustments to our benefits to ensure employees have access to the quality healthcare they need,” a Nike spokesperson said in a statement.
• Sony and its subsidiary, Insomniac, promised to pay thousands of dollars to radical pro-abortion groups, like the Women’s Reproductive Rights Assistance Project, following the leaked draft opinion for Dobbs. Sony also announced travel benefits for employees seeking abortions, according to The Washington Post.
• Comcast-NBC Universal offers travel benefits for abortion, according to NBC News. Comcast-NBC Universal is a heavy-hitter in the media world, and controls NBC News, CNBC and MSNBC.
• Warner Bros. Discovery said it will cover abortion travel costs for employees, according to Variety. Warner Bros. Discovery is the parent company of CNN. 
• Dick’s Sporting Goods President Lauren Hobart threw her company’s weight behind abortion on LinkedIn: “DICK’S Sporting Goods will provide up to $4,000 in travel expense reimbursement to travel to the nearest location where that care is legally available.”
• Lyft vowed that transportation “should never be a barrier to access” to abortion in a June 24 blog post headlined “Supporting Women’s Access to Healthcare.” The company also proudly announced “coverage for elective abortion and reimbursement for travel costs.”
• Patagonia reaffirmed its support for “abortion care” and offered “travel, lodging and food” to employees seeking abortion in a June 24 post on LinkedIn. The company also told its employees that it would pay “bail for those who peacefully protest for reproductive justice.”  
• Bungie said: “We remain undeterred in our commitment to stand up for reproductive choice and liberty,” after announcing “a travel reimbursement program” for abortions.  
• Bumble declared on LinkedIn: “Abortion is health care, and health care is a human right. We won’t be silenced—and we’re speaking for the majority. We’re not going back.” Bumble also announced it would pay travel benefits for abotion, according to Protocol. 
• Box.com posted a statement on LinkedIn: “We are disappointed by the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. In light of the decision, we want to reaffirm that Box will continue to support paid time off and will also cover travel and medical expenses for employees to obtain critical reproductive healthcare services.” 
• Levi Strauss reiterated the company’s commitment to fighting for abortion on LinkedIn a day after the Dobbs decision dropped. The company said that employees are eligible for “reimbursement for healthcare-related travel expenses for services not available in their home state, including those related to reproductive health care and abortion.”
• BuzzFeed CEO Jonah Peretti told staff on June 24 that the company would support travel expenses for employees seeking abortions, according to The Times.
• Condé Nast, which owns leftist magazine The New Yorker, said it would cover travel and even lodging for employees who want abortions, according to The New York Times. 
• United Talent Agency made an announcement following the early leak of a draft opinion overturning Roe on its website: “UTA is offering to reimburse travel costs for any employees affected by the looming federal abortion ban.”
• Starbucks wrote in a public letter to its partners that the coffee brewery company will provide “a medical travel reimbursement benefit to access an abortion.” [Emphasis theirs.]
• Yelp CEO Jeremy Stoppelman urged business leaders to “speak out against” the Court’s Dobbs decision, according to The Wall Street Journal. And one month ago, following the leak of the Dobbs decision, Yelp Senior Vice President for Corporate Communications Amy Sezak said she was “proud to work for a company that has long supported reprodutctive rights and abortion access.” Yelp also announced that it would pay abortion travel benefits following the leaked Roe draft opinion in May, according to Reuters. 
• HP issued a statement the day of the Dobbs decision and exclaimed: “As a company, we believe that it should be up to every single one of our employees to decide whether and when to start a family – whether that’s choosing who they love and marry, taking paid time off if they are having a child, and having access to healthcare.” HP supports “abortion” and “related travel expenses,” according to CNN Business. 
• Salesforce co-CEO Marc Benioff tweeted the day of the Dobbs decision: “I believe CEOs have a responsibility to take care of their employees—no matter what. Salesforce moves employees when they feel threatened or experience discrimination. To our Ohana—we always make sure you have the best benefits & care, & we will always have your back. Always.” The company said it would help relocate employees seeking abortions after the leak of the Dobbs draft decision, according to CNBC. 
• Tesla said it would give medical benefits to workers traveling out of state for an abortion after the company recently relocated to Texas, according to the New York Post. 
• Uber said in a statement: “After this morning’s Supreme Court ruling, we reiterated to employees that Uber’s insurance plans in the U.S. already cover a range of reproductive health benefits, including pregnancy termination and travel expenses to access healthcare,” according to The Wall Street Journal. 
• Netflix said it offers employees and their dependents up to $10,000 in travel reimbursement for “gender affirming care, or abortion” according to Variety. 
• Zillow said it would reimburse employees on travel expenses related to abortion for up to $7,500, according to The Times. 
• Accenture said it would cover travel expenses for “health care procedures not provided locally,” including abortions, according to The Times. 
• Reddit reportedly told The Times that its employees could get a stipend to cover travel expenses for abortions. 
• Intuit told employees that it would cover employee travel expenses for abortions, according to The Times.
• Gucci announced abortion travel benefits for its employees following the Dobbs decision, according to Reuters.
• GoDaddy issued a statement to its employees that the company would pay for abortion-related travel expenses, according to Yahoo News.
• DoorDash said that it would cover travel-related expenses for abortion in a June 28 email to MRCB. 
• Pinterest told its employees that it would offer abortion travel benefits, according to Bloomberg News. 
• Kroger announced it would offer employees abortion travel benefits, according to ABC Cincinnati. 
• Alaska Airlines announced abortion travel benefits for employees, according to Fox News.
• Paramount told its employees the day of the Dobbs decision that it would cover employee travel costs for abortion, according to National Review. 
• Goldman Sachs emailed employees with news that the bank would pay for travel benefits for abortions, according to Insider. 

Daily Wire commentator Matt Walsh summed up the possible reason why a growing number of major companies are offering to pay travel expenses for abortion: “Billion dollar corporations offering to pay for their employees’ abortions so that they can get right back to their cubicles and not miss any time on maternity leave is honestly the most dystopian thing I’ve ever seen. Really chilling stuff.”
