A homicide investigation is under way in Mount Roskill following a man’s death in the early hours of the morning.
Police were called to a commercial address on Richardson Road about 12.54am on Friday.
Auckland City CIB Detective Senior Sergeant Ash Matthews said a man was found unresponsive following an assault.
“After receiving medical assistance, he died at the scene,” Matthews said.
“Police are working hard to establish exactly what has occurred and who is responsible.”
A scene examination was being carried out.
