Orlando Pirates technical team have been impressed with their striker Tshegofatso Mabasa, who’s on loan to Moroka Swallows.
The 27-year-old has scored six times in 10 league games so far this season.

Mabasa is now the top scorer of the league with six goals after netting a brace in the 2-1 win over AmaZulu. This will not sit well with some of the Orlando Pirates fans who asked Jose Riveiro to give the Bafana Bafana striker a chance this season.
Instead of giving the Bafana Bafana forward a chance this season, he was once again loaned to the benefit of Steve Komphela.
Mabasa might return to Pirates in January

The Buccaneers have struggled for goals of late and in their last four matches, they only managed one goal and that was against Jwaneng Galaxy. That goal was not enough though as Riveiro’s men were eliminated from the CAF Champions League via penalty shootout.
This week, Citizen said that the Soweto giants might bring the Mabasa back in January.
“He is very impressive and the technical team have been watching him. At the moment I’m not really certain, but there is a huge possibility that he might be brought back to the club in January. It would be a huge loss for Swallows, but he is a Pirates player,” said the publication.
For now, Mabasa remains a Swallows player and will continue until January if Pirates opt to bring him back.
