VANCOUVER, B.C.: OCT. 18, 2023 – A rainfall warning is in effect for much of the B.C. south coast due to an atmospheric river sweeping through the region. On Wednesday, Vancouver is expected to see lots of rain, heavy at times, up to 35 mm. The rain is expected to ease into showers Thursday and Friday.

Today: Rain at times heavy. Amount 15 to 25 mm. Wind east 20 km/h except gusting to 50 near the Strait of Georgia this morning. High 14. UV index 1 or low.
Tonight: Periods of rain. Amount 5 to 10 mm. Low 12.
Tomorrow: Showers ending in the afternoon then cloudy. Amount 5 mm. High 16. UV index 1 or low.
