A high-risk sex offender who failed to return to his halfway house is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.
Vancouver police asks that anyone who sees 58-year-old Randall Hopley or knows where he is to call 911.

Hopley was last seen Nov. 4 at 3 p.m.
In a news release, police said Hopley “has a history of sexual assault, assault, and property crime convictions. He has committed three offences of a sexual nature against children in the past.”

He is 5’9” tall and weighs about 175 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. When he was last seen he was wearing all black – coat, pants and hat.
In 2011, Hopley snatched sleeping three-year-old Kienan Hebert from a second-floor bedroom in Sparwood, B.C. He kept the child for four days before returning him physically unharmed after Hebert’s parents made a public plea.
Hopley, who had previous convictions for abduction of a person under the age of 14, sexual assault, assault and break-and-enters, received a six-year-sentence for the Sparwood abduction.
