Detrimental in the agency’s success in the past six years, Special is appointing Rory Galley, Chief Strategy Officer as a Partner.
In the six years Gallery has been at the helm as Head of Strategy and Chief Strategy Officer, Special has been awarded a number of accolades, including ‘Most Effective Agency’ at both the New Zealand and APAC Effie awards and ‘Global Creative Agency of the Year’ by Campaign.
“Rory has made an exceptional impact at Special – for our clients and their businesses, to the quality of our creative work, our reputation as a creative company driven by effectiveness, and to the entire culture at Special. You can’t ask for more than that.” Says Tony Bradbourne, Founder of Special.
“Although New Zealand is a long way from where I grew up, I instantly felt at home at Special. From day one, Tony, Michael and Heath have been extremely supportive and together with all the talented individuals at Special, we have created some memorable ideas that will forever be career highlights. I can’t wait to do more.”
Gallery has grown and fostered a strategic team that has picked up some serious international accolades over the past number of years including Cannes Lions ‘Independent Agency of the Year / Strategy’, winning a WARC Grand Prix for Effectiveness and a Cannes Grand Prix for their work with life insurance company Partners Life.
Further to this, Special has been named the ‘Most Effective Independent Agency in the World’ by Effies Global Rankings.
“A massive congratulations, he makes every part of Special stronger, has helped grow the value of Special considerably, and I’m personally very, very happy to call Rory, Partner.” says Bradbourne.
