New Delhi. Ashmita Sethi, who has smiled her way with one success after another in global Aviation, has been honoured with Wings of Change for Women in Aviation.
The WCWA Award was presented to her at the 5th Aerospace and Defence MRO South Asia Summit 2024 in New Delhi.
Ashmita, or Ash as she is known among friends, is the President and Country Head at Pratt & Whitney, looking after the giant engine maker’s civil and military requirements in India. “As we celebrate this occasion, we also acknowledge the broader significance of Ashmita’s accomplishments. Her exemplary leadership serves as a powerful reminder of the transformative potential of women in aerospace, inspiring future generations to strive for excellence,” said the company in a statement.
“This accolade recognizes her exceptional achievements and unwavering dedication to the aerospace industry.”
Ashmita has worked with Rolls-Royce and Boeing before moving to Pratt & Whitney.
