The Rabbitohs have fallen off a cliff since their opening 15 or so minutes and just keep giving the Warriors opportunities.
This deficit could be more if the Warriors were a little cleaner in their attack, but they won’t turn their nose up at an 18-4 advantage.
Souths, meanwhile, look pretty ordinary.
They’ve completed 15 of 21 sets compared to the Warriors’ 20/24, per StatsPerform. And the errors are coming in horrible field position, repeatedly handing their opponents the ball in great attacking spots.
Add to that Latrell Mitchell going on report twice in the first half, both of which are almost certain to result in charges, and the opening 40 minutes couldn’t have gone much worse for them.
“He’s lucky to still be on the field … I don’t know what goes through Latrell’s mind at times during a game,” Greg Alexander tells Fox Sports.
