Royal Oak liquor centre was ramraided early on Wednesday morning.
Five children have been arrested following a ramraid at an Auckland liquor store in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Royal Oak Liquor Centre was hit just before 3am by five youths aged between 12 and 15 years old.
A police spokesperson said officers arrived quickly and arrested three people at the store. Two more were found nearby and arrested.
Two stolen vehicles were recovered at the scene.
The offenders have been referred to Youth Aid on charges of burglary and unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, the spokesperson said.
On Wednesday morning an errant hubcap was near the store’s front door which had been boarded up. A column supporting the store’s facade also had black tyre marks next to it.
