“Thought That Was an Actual Female”: Divorced Coach Prime Nearly Landed in Hot Water After Deion Sanders Jr’s Hilarious Misconception

Deion Sanders Jr. might have accidentally just set his father up. Unfortunately, (to his relief) it didn’t play out to be what he expected it to be. After his “mutually parting ways” from ex-Tracey Edmonds in December 2023, Deion Sanders’ life has not seen much of lady love. So when took to his X to post a picture of something remotely close to a feminine figure, Deion Sanders Jr. had to double-check.

“I thought that was an actual female…. I was about to Group FaceTime everybody and say dad think he too turnt out here… he done lost his mind,” Deion Sanders Jr. hilariously confessed on X, replying to the picture his father posted. For the ones still guessing, the picture was a sculpture, of a female with a raised hand.

“Peace be Still,” captioned Sanders with the post, confusing everyone. While it was an innocent illusion of Sanders Jr. about the figure, was it his hilarious attempt at hinting his father to start walking on the path again? However Prime would be very careful before stepping his foot onto the path again because of all the things he had to face in his life.

The first divorce Sanders was the toughest for him. In 1998, Sanders split ways with his first wife Carolyn Chambers when he was just about 30. The part that absolutely crushed his soul, however, was Chambers won the custody of their children, leaving Prime utterly desolated. So much so that Prime found himself at rock bottom.

Deion Sanders was left at a very low point after Chambers and his eldest kids, Deiondra and Jr. left him. Prime confessed about it in his interview with Ed Mylett. “Those are the only two people people that I felt loved me in my whole life because it was genuine. Like these are my kids. They came from me,” Sanders, almost choking up, expressed the turmoil he went through. “I began to be s*icidal,” he added.

However, when Prime spoke about it in public, his experience left him shocked. “When I came out and told the world, this is what I was going through, this is what I was dealing with, they didn’t believe me,” Sanders said, admitting feeling dejected when the fans didn’t express empathy towards him.

It was through his spiritual mentor Bishop Omar that Sanders could come out of the episode. “I finally had to get on my knees and say, Lord, take me, man, I can’t do this no more,” Sanders said in his interview. It was then that Prime wholly surrendered himself to God.
