President Biden made some wild statements during the debate on Thursday night. One that jumped out at me was when Biden told former President Trump that the Border Patrol union endorsed him, not Trump.
What in the world was he thinking when he said that?
Here is what he said to Trump- “We significantly increased the number of asylum offices, significantly … by the way, the Border Patrol endorsed me, endorsed my position.” The subject was immigration and the open southern border. That subject, like most other subjects, is one that Joe Biden loses to Trump in every poll.
Everyone knows that the Biden border crisis is intentional and was set into place on his very first day in office. Biden wanted to prove that he was not Trump on border policy and management, despite Trump’s success in securing the border and discouraging illegal border crossings.
The Border Patrol union stepped up and fact-checked the president in real time.
To be clear, we never have and never will endorse Biden.

It doesn’t get more clear than that.
The only thing I can think of that may have confused Biden was during the time the Senate put up that sham border security bill mixed in with the huge foreign aid bill, the Border Patrol half-heartedly endorsed the bill. It was an endorsement out of desperation. The union knew it didn’t do much to secure the border but they were desperate for help – any help at all – to be able to do their jobs and secure the southern border. They said the bill wasn’t perfect but it was better than nothing. That bill failed, as it should have. I don’t think bad legislation is better than no legislation. That border bill was bad legislation.
Listen, Democrats can call Donald Trump a liar all they want. The truth is that the former president looks and sounds like he did four years ago. Joe Biden most assuredly does not. Yes, the presidency ages people but Biden was old to begin with. He was only going to go downhill during his time in office. Republicans have been pointing out the dangers of a president with mental acuity problems and physical feebleness due to his advanced age and Democrats have been in a state of denial for four years. The media has been happy to cover for Biden. We are all owed an apology and Biden has to be held accountable. Jill Biden has to be held accountable. KJP and others in the White House inner circle have to be held accountable. Because, if the subject is about lies, all of those people have been telling whoppers about Biden’s ability to do his job.
The Border Patrol union is no fan of Joe Biden.
The National Border Patrol Council represents about 18,000 Border Patrol agents and support personnel, maintaining a 90% membership rate among eligible agents.
The National Border Patrol Council has frequently criticized Biden’s handling of the border crisis as well as Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.
It is hard to believe that Biden prepared for eight days at Camp David for the debate. We were told he was on top of his game. We were told he was being fed zingers and one-liners to throw Trump off his game. None of that happened.
Joe Biden looked old and weak. He rambled as he always does, often incoherently. One time Trump said he didn’t understand what Biden was talking about and that is something most of us have been saying for a long time. He is hard to understand because of his mumbling and the thoughts that he relays are often nonsensical and from left field. The image he projects on the world stage puts Americans around the world at risk.
The Border Patrol union knows that we need a new president – one who will take his job of securing the borders seriously. It’s time for change.
