Millwall are closing in on a deal for Reading attacker Femi Azeez.
The 23-year-old attacker has been a target for the Lions for the whole of the summer.
And the South London Press understands that Azeez, who has been linked with other Championship clubs in the transfer window, is set to have a medical tomorrow after a fee was agreed.
Millwall head coach Neil Harris had talked at the weekend about adding another striker, winger and central midfielder to the squad.
Azeez, whose main position has been on the right flank for the Royals, has scored 11 goals in 89 appearances.
He had been absent from Reading’s last two matches with boss Ruben Selles citing a back injury. Azeez played the final 28 minutes of their 2-0 victory over Wigan at the weekend.
Westminster-born Azeez played in non-league for Northwood and Wealdstone before joining the Royals academy in 2019.
He had one year remaining on his Reading contract after they activated a 12-month extension clause in May.
Millwall are also set to confirm the addition of Celtic youngster Daniel Kelly.
The 18-year-old midfielder had signed a pre-contract to arrive in SE16 when his Parkhead deal expired on January 1. But the two clubs had reached an agreement for the deal to happen now.
