CNN has crunched the numbers to reveal who exactly in different neighbourhoods affected by the ongoing disaster.
There are 9.7 million people in Los Angeles County, with an average income of US$88,000 (about $142,000).
In the Pacific Palisades and Brentwood, both ravaged by the Palisades fire, a community of 55,000 people averages about US$155,000 a year in income (about $250,000).
In Altadena, where the deadly Eaton fire rages, there are 43,000 people with an average income of US$129,000 a year (about $208,000).
And in the Hollywood Hills, threatened by the Sunset fire, the population of about 22,000 people has an average income of US$97,000 a year (about $156,500).
These averages could potentially be skewed by super rich celebrities and business-people who have homes in the area, but it has already been speculated that on property values alone, this could be one of the most expensive wildfire disasters in US history.
