Donald Trump will lead Republicans ‘into failure and misery’

The Australian’s Foreign Editor Greg Sheridan says former US president Donald Trump would lead the Republican Party into “failure and misery”.

Mr Sheridan said if the US midterms are a referendum on President Joe Biden, then Republicans would win a “vast majority”.

“If they are a referendum on Donald Trump, the Republicans will probably lose,” he told Sky News Australia.
