Rinna noted that “behind the scenes, we hated each other,” and claimed Kelker-Kelly was “horrible” to her on the set of the NBC daytime drama.

“I’d go so far as to say verbally abusive,” the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star wrote. “He was passive aggressive, manipulative and played weird mind games.”

Rinna joined the soap opera in the role of Billie Reed in 1992, just months after Kelker-Kelly assumed the iconic role of Bo Brady after original actor Peter Reckell departed the show.

“I had to work with him every day, often half-naked to do love scenes,” the 62-year-old recounted. “If I didn’t do what he wanted, he’d give me the silent treatment.”

Rinna likened him to “a ticking time bomb,” adding, “I never knew when I arrived on set each morning if I’d get nice Robert Kelker-Kelly or dark Robert Kelker-Kelly. He was unpredictable and it was exhausting.”

Rinna recalled in the tell-all how she and co-star Kristian Alfonso were given their “own full-time security detail” after the actor “disappeared” from set one day.

She noted: “I wasn’t worried about physical harm, but NBC had to cover their ass. We had rent-a-cops parked outside our houses and trailers for three weeks and were driven to and from work.”

Reckell eventually returned to the soap to replace his replacement in 1995 — the same year Rinna left the show.

The actress told readers: “I regret that I stood up to Robert, because I was too young, and I was not willing to make waves at my awesome new job … I still lacked assertiveness and self-confidence when it came to men.”

She added: “If Robert Kelker-Kelly was in my Housewives orbit today, he never would have gotten away with his behaviour.”
