Lumo has introduced two purpose-built digital billboards at Auckland’s Alexandra Park in Epsom, designed to follow the curve of the venue’s Green Lane West gates.
Rather than treating Alexandra Park as a standard billboard site, Lumo worked with Daktronics to design a 9m x 3m screen that follows the curve, movement and character of the venue’s entrance.
The Green Lane West location gives advertisers a strong audience opportunity, with an average dwell time of 24 seconds per screen. Weekly impressions reach 910,290 at Lumo-Alexandra Park In and 852,354 at Lumo-Alexandra Park Out.
Feels part of the site
Phil Clemas, Lumo co-founder and CEO, says: “What makes this site special is that the solution came directly from the location.
“For many Aucklanders, Alexandra Park carries a lot of history, from Friday Night Trots to its place in the city’s racing community. By building to the curve of the entrance, we’ve created a format that feels part of the site while delivering real impact for advertisers.”
The new pair complements Lumo’s existing coverage through the Epsom, Greenlane and Newmarket corridor, says the network. It helps brands reach audiences moving between the Greenlane medical precinct, the Auckland Showgrounds, local school routes, Newmarket’s premium retail area and Alexandra Park’s race days and venue functions.
Alexandra Park takes Lumo’s nationwide network to 122 screens and comes just weeks ahead of the company’s Great Southern Lights launch on November 2.
