A WOMAN has been accused of trying to kill a builder in a horror attack after she cut a rope securing him to the side of a skyscraper.
The man had been refurbishing her home in Bendidorm when he was left clinging to a ledge to stop himself plunging 150ft to his death.

Bending over the balcony of her home, the resident allegedly slashed one of the two safety ropes securing the builder.
At the time, the worker had been suspended between the 12th and 13th floors of the Costa del Sol skyscraper.
Prosecutors say she then tried to cut through the second rope – but fellow workers reportedly shouted at her to stop.
The man was forced to grip onto a cornice with his bare hands to stop himself from falling 12 storeys.

The suspected sabotage unfolded on January 20, 2021 – but has only just made its way into Alicante’s Provincial Court.
If found guilty, the woman could face a six-year prison sentence for attempted homicide.
“A woman faces six years in prison for attempted homicide for allegedly cutting the safety rope securing a man, between the 12th and 13th floors”, said court officials.
They added that he had been “carrying out facade renovation work”.
Prosecutors allege the woman stepped out onto “the enclosed balcony of her home with a sharp object and cut one of the ropes holding the victim.”
“When she was about to cut the second one, the workers’ screams made her stop”, they added.
“The injured worker had to hold onto a ledge to avoid falling into the void.”
The exact building in the Costa Blanca resort has not been identified.
Police have not revealed any motives for the suspected homicide attempt.
The woman’s nationality has also not been made public.
At the time, police arrested two people in connection with the alleged attempted killing.
It comes after Brit dad plunged to his death after falling from a six-storey balcony in Costa del Sol.
The 37-year-old had been on holiday with his wife and two young children in February when the tragedy unfolded.
Paramedics raced to the scene – but were unable to save the dad who plummetted to his death in the early hours of the morning as his family slept inside.
In March, a teenage girl jumped from a Costa del Sol balcony to try and escape an alleged knifepoint sex attack.
The 14-year-old had been reported missing by her parents – but now police believe she was drugged and sexually assaulted by three young men inside a room in the Spanish resort of Torremolinos.
