F1 brings its European triple-header to a close with Ferrari’s home race at Monza, Italy for 2022 Italian Grand Prix.
With a 109-point lead, Max Verstappen is within firm control of the driver’s championship with a maximum of 190 points on offer from the remaining seven races of the season as Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc look to keep his title hopes alive with a win at the Scuderia’s home race.
Leclerc however is also engaged in a four-way fight for second against Sergio Perez, George Russell and Carlos Sainz with the quartet split by 26 points, with Lewis Hamilton holding a outside chance as he sits 43 points behind the Monegasque.

- Following tyre strategy and pit stop errors in Belgium and Netherlands respectively, Ferrari will need a clean weekend if they’re to impress under scrutiny of home fans and fight for the win.
