Cathay Post #186 is getting ready to celebrate a major milestone—its 80th anniversary—and organizers are hoping to hear from families who have a connection to the post’s history.
The post will celebrate its 80th anniversary Sunday, Sept. 20, 2026. As preparations continue, the planning committee is reaching out to descendants of veterans who were members of Cathay Post #186.
If you are a family member of a Cathay Post #186 veteran, you are encouraged to get in touch. Organizers are asking families to share the veteran’s name, the relative’s name and relationship to the veteran, and current contact information, such as an email address or cell phone number.
