An unidentified man is sought for allegedly sexually assaulting a passenger on a TTC bus in Etobicoke last week.

Toronto Police say the victim was riding a TTC bus on Dundas St. W. near Acorn Ave. – just west of Kipling Ave. – when the man boarded around 8 p.m. on May 6.

The man allegedly sat down close to the victim and sexually assaulted the person, whose gender and age were not released.
The victim then exited the bus at the next stop, police say.
A suspect was subsequently identified and investigators have released images of the man hoping someone will recognize him and come forward.
The man is described as about 20 years old, 6-feet-tall, with a thin build, short black hair and glasses. He was wearing a grey hooded sweater, blue jeans, black shoes, a dark baseball hat with large black earphones over it, and carrying a black backpack.

WOMAN SHOT DEAD IN OAKWOOD VILLAGE
A woman in her 20s was shot to death at a home in Oakwood Village early Saturday.
Toronto Police say officers responded to a call for the sound of gunshots in the area of Eglinton Ave. W. and Northcliffe Blvd. – just east of Dufferin St. – shortly after 5 a.m.
When they arrived at the residence the officers found the lifeless body of a woman who had been shot.
The woman, whose name and age were not immediately available, was pronounced dead at the scene becoming the city’s 29th murder victim of the year.
The circumstances of the shooting were unclear and no further details or suspect description were released.

It was the second deadly shooting in the Oakwood Village neighbourhood in recent days.
Trevor John, 31, was gunned down out front of a nearby lowrise apartment building – on Winona Dr., near Vaughan Rd. – on Tuesday.

MAN GUNNED DOWN IN BRAMPTON PLAZA
A man believed to be in his 40s was gunned down at a plaza in the south end of Brampton early Saturday.
Peel regional Police say officers responded to a shooting call near Kennedy Rd. and Stafford Dr. – north of Steeles Ave. E. – around 4:14 a.m.
The victim, whose name and age were not immediately released, was found inside of a vehicle suffering from a gunshot. The man was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The shooting is believed to have been targeted but it was unknown if the victim was the intended target, Const. Tyler Bell told reporters at the scene Saturday.
No suspect description was released.

BOY, 15, CRITICALLY INJURED IN BRAMPTON STABBING
A 15-year-old boy is fighting for his life after he was stabbed in a fight involving several youths in a Brampton park on Friday afternoon.
Peel Regional Police say the fight erupted just before 5 p.m. in the area of Clark Blvd. and Dixie Rd.
Officers responded and found the boy suffering from stab wounds.
The victim was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries, police say.
It’s not yet known what sparked the fight, but police say more than one person was armed with a edged weapon.
Police are looking for five or six youths, some of whom may have just been bystanders, but no suspect descriptions were immediately available.

COUPLE ATTACKED BY GROUP OF TEENAGERS IN ETOBICOKE
A man was stabbed and a woman was physically assaulted by a group of teenagers in Etobicoke Friday night.
Toronto Police say a group of teens approached the couple in the area of Thompson Ave. Van Dusen Blvd. – southwest of Royal York Rd. and Bloor St. W – around 11:20 p.m. and an argument ensued.
The man in his 30s was stabbed and was rushed to hospital in serious but stable condition, police say.
The woman, who is also thought to be in her 30s, suffered minor injuries in the attack.
One boy was taken into custody but he was later released and no charges had been laid.
The investigation is ongoing, police say.
