India has been battered by gale-force winds as Cyclone Biparjoy makes landfall.
The storm system is expected to weaken as it crosses the country’s Gujarat region, before making its way to Pakistan by midday.
More than 170,000 people in the two countries have been evacuated ahead of the cyclone’s arrival and authorities say it’s the worst storm in the region in more than two decades.
