I’m looking for: Minimum 6’1”, educated guy with strong career ambitions and understands the demands of the legal profession. Someone to go to nice places with and equally laze around with.
Mostly I’m finding: Bums.
My last serious relationship was: Nearly four years long and ended because I was blind to the obvious toxicity of my former partner (I was young and committed).
The worst date I ever had: A generic coffee/brunch date where the conversation was so grim and the guy so scary I had to grab the bus to leave early and not catch a ride with him.
The best date I ever had: An unexpected unplanned non-date “date” that lasted 4-5 hour, with just walking and talking. Very much like Before Sunrise. Too bad it didn’t go anywhere.
The most regrettable thing I ever did on a date: Went to the wrong location twice …. ended up being 20 mins late.
The best thing a date ever did for me: At the risk of rewarding bare-minimum, but dropping or walking me home
The biggest red flag I’ve seen on a date: Telling me your body count… like this isn’t cool guys, no one cares!
On a date I usually wear: Cool top / T-shirt that shows my interest, jeans or jorts (depending on the weather), and my dad sneakers.
I have sex when: Around third or fourth date or until I’m sure and we are past the awkward stage.
I wish dating was: OFFLINE. I’ll never download dating apps again and I think we need to bring back the culture of asking people out nicely at cafes, bars, house parties. Make it more human-centred? And less phone-centric.
This is what I think about who pays on dates: Whoever asks the other person out but I feel the guy is on trial so he really should be (assuming they are the ones who ask women out more than the other way around).
Three words that describe my dream date: Casual, thoughtful, funny.
My dating advice is: Get off dating apps and rely on the cosmic energy from the universe or the.. microwave … or whatever.
